The Art of Giving Back Scholarship is the first visual art scholarship in the history of UNCF. The Art of Leadership Lecture Series was created in 2002 by Lawrence Klepner, Esq. The hugely successful series of talks features guest speakers who present their expertise on art and the art market at evening events or over lunch. Cutting-edge art, emerging artists and the international art market are all covered in Art of Leadership. The presentations have attracted some of the major player of today's art world, all leaders in their fields. Recent speakers include Glenn Lowry, MoMA; Chuck Close, Artist; Lisa Dennison, formerly with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, now with Sotheby's; Simon de Pury, Phillips de Pury; Paola Antonelli, MoMA; and Sergey Skaterschikov, IndexAtlas Group, LLC. Since 2002, Art of Leadership has grown to include Art of Leadership Series: The Magazine and The Directory at Art of Leadership, an upcoming international artist network.
